Health and Safety

The Authority has an obligation to safeguard the Health and Safety of the Public and to secure the provision of electricity in a safe manner.

The Technical Directorate conduct Health and Safety Audits from time to time and engage consultants to carry out specialized work in this regard. The Technical Directorate approves the Health and Safety Policies of Licensees and Exemption Holders. Health and Safety issues are afforded a top priority and compliance with the Health and Safety Policies and Procedures by Licensees is monitored very closely.
