Introduction on Licensing and Legal Affairs

The Directorate acts as legal counsel to Authority Members and acts to ensure Member decisions comply with the requirements of the Sector Law and other applicable Laws. The Directorate is responsible for monitoring compliance with conditions of authorizations granted by the Authority and for maintaining channels of communication with relevant ministries and competent authorities to ensure the Authority has the information needed to provide requisite advice to License Holders and Exemption Holders. The Directorate is also responsible for maintaining the Public Register.
